Building Blocks for Self-Esteem. A three-week workshop series that focuses on building your self-esteem, finding your voice and discovering your true potential.  Gain an understanding of what's holding you back, learn to use effective self-talk, challenge fears and target your personal goals.Thursdays: May 10, 17 & 24 from 10am-12pm. Cost:$30.

Attention to anyone planning to attend the next Building Blocks for Self-Esteem workshop series! The dates have been changed.

The workshops were originally scheduled for April 3, 10, and 17 but are now taking place on May 10, 17, and 24th from 10AM to noon. Call the Centre at 905-847-5520 for more information and to register.

Income Tax Assistance Free income tax assistance for women making under $30,000. Please contact the Centre for financial eligibility. Monday April 2 & 16th from 10 – 1 pm. First come, first served. No appointments. 

Family Law Workshop Thinking of separating? Know your rights regarding finances, property division and custody.  A one day workshop on Saturday April 14, 2012 from 9 – 4:30 pm. Cost $40.

Need Income Tax Assistance?

The Women's Centre offers free income tax assistance to women making under $30,000 per year. Monday February 27, March 5 & 19, & April 2 & 16th from 10 – 1 pm. 

Please note this service is first come, first served. No appointments. 

When you come for this service, you need to bring all of your materials and wait to talk with the accountant. As she may have questions, it is not possible for you to drop off your paperwork and return for it later.

Happy New Year everyone! We'd like to take a moment to tell you about the programs coming up in January 2012. Call the Centre at 905-847-5520 for more information and to register for any of these programs and workshops. 

Building Blocks for Self Esteem, with Nikki Rosen, starts Tuesday January 10 and runs for three weeks, from 10AM to noon. An empowerment workshop that focuses on building your self-esteem, finding your voice, and discovering your true potential.
